As a college student I always wanted to help people and have a sustainable business that stood for something to be proud. I went in to a field where I was working in Athletics. I worked diligently with Central Michigan University and earned an internship working with the Detroit Pistons. I was met with adversity and that landed me in the mortgage world.
I have spent 10 years dedicating my life to fine tuning the mortgage process with consistent feedback sessions how to improve the process, what was best for clients, and learning the intricacies of an array of loan programs to tailor the experience.
The start of the brokerage was first drummed up when my son Jonah was born. I began to think about long term future and legacy. That is when I began to think about my family. My grandmother and Uncle were both self-employed and entrepreneurial. They began their journey in Catering and Event Management. My grandmother started Golden Carriage Catering, and Uncle with Elegant Catering. When starting this journey it became glaringly obvious that Elegant Carriage would honor their legacy and continue on with me.
